Hear Michael Berkovsky in dialog with Isabela Gilcescu about this very exciting September 14 th recital. Amazing friends and musicians with international reputation, members of RCM in Toronto, playing a catchy program starting with a beautiful, very romantic piece by Enescu that sets the mood for the French jazz style composition by Schoenfield, an unexpected combination of rag time and blues cool tunes arranged for classical musicians. Rechtman follows with beautiful Café Music and the recital is completed by a lovely piece by Brahms, a piece ”once heard cannot be forgotten”.
